HOW TO MASSAGE THE GUM 


        It is also known as Gingival massage. It is a remedical of hygienic treatment of the gum by manipulation. It means to treat or operate manually with skill. Gum massage can be achieved by the use of stimulators, which are supplementary aids Oral physiotherapy.

There are two main types of stimulators
namely: 


1. Rubber stimulator.
    a. cone shaped stimulatol
     b.    Rubber tipped stimulator-.

2. Wooden stimulator.
     a.Wooden tooth pick devices

      b.Interdens

Digital stimulator can also be used, that is first wash your hands ; the thumb and forefinger are
usedto rub the gum gently with a toothpaste or lubricant. Other inter-dental stimulators are used only when inter-dental recession is present after surgery or severe gum loss.
      To do this, massage the triangles of the gum
between your teeth for about 5 minute's. To keep
your gums and your teeth in top shape, you should
also brush twice a day, floss daily, and visit dental
clinic every six months.
